~A person's "Joy"

Evening everyone,

I have been getting stuff ready for our yard sale this weekend, trying to purge old items and stuff we simply have no room for! I tend to be a "pack rat", my folks and poor Jason can attest...Hi my name is Sarah and I have too much JUNK! So this past weekend we sorted through our garage, and 70% of it was mine sadly, but I am purging and purging and still....purging! So this weekend will make room for more kid type things and make room in my heart and garage... But in all seriousness I went through boxes of Barbie stuff, suitcases full of pictures and letters from basic training and tech school, memories and how do I compartmentalize and let some of those things go? I know I must seeing as how I cannot even park in our garage but I still find it hard. So I am struck tonight with what is my "Joy" besides the obvious being my kids, husband and family/friends...Like I wrote previously I was taught to be an Airman in the United States Air Force, taught a trade, taught to defend at any cost, then I was taught to be a civilian after that, then a wife, and now my most interesting and AMAZING job to date....MOMMY! Somewhere along all the changing and teaching I lost my joy. My personal thing that I can hold dear to my heart, that is just for me. I always have had a love for reading and escaping to the world within those pages. I have been able to devote some time to reading at night and I truly love it. I hope that over the next few months I can explore Sarah again and find her. So I will close, and go back to categorizing my junk...to sell or not to sell...Thanks to anyone who reads this...I really appreciate it!
