Hi everyone!
I pray that everyone had a Thankgiving filled with FOOD, LOVE, and RELAXATION! <3 Ours was spent at home, the kids had what I can only say was food poisoning, and it was brutal but Friday was a new day and they woke up early and happy! I decided on Thanksgiving night that I was no longer going to take the "poor me" approach, since I am a single mama to three little ones, etc. It is what it is and I have to adapt and overcome so that has been what I have been "attempting" to do!
On Friday I took the kids to a place called Mr. Biggs and a smaller child area called Little Big Town. It is a series of rooms where they can explore, play and RUN! My kids are like their daddy, they take it all in and decide on their own if they like it or not. Some areas they loved and some areas they hated! Regardless it got us out of the house and that was the most important thing. I filled them with junk food, kid fun and overall made them tired! High five for mama!!!
Today(Saturday) I decided I would take the kids to breakfast since we were up so darn early and then after that Christmas shopping for daddy! If we want him to get his gifts on time since he is in Korea it is being said that we must mail things out 3 weeks before hand so it gave me a reason to shop! YES! Kellan also was in dire need of a haircut so we did that as well, he was a big boy and sat on my lap and listened well. He has a real little boy haircut and I can even make it into a faux hawk! YES!!!!! Then finally after much deliberation, we visited with Santa, and all three kids FLIPPED out. So I decided to sit with Santa and the kids! Haha! We got a decent picture that I will attach so you can see it.
Overall my life is busy, it is hard but I refuse to make each day anything less then FABULOUS! Some days with be better then others but I have been blessed with this opportunity and I do not want to waste it on being sad and lonely. The lonely feelings are still there of course but Jason is doing well, the kids are doing well and I am doing well! I appreciate everyone as they support us on this journey.
Blessings and love.
