~So with the new diet well on board, I cleaned out cabinets and the fridge today to rid my home of ALL THINGS GLUTEN-OUS! Then I went and donated it to Care and Share as none of it was opened or of course expired, and now someone in need can eat that food and enjoy it and it will be for free. That is why I like organizations such as Care and Share, they really give back and if you ever get the chance to donate time there I have, and I know several others that have...Really puts life into perspective and shows us how darned blessed we all are. I have also done Meals on Wheels and love that as well, those cute little old people, some like to chat and well some simply do not but either way again another way to help in your community and put your own personal handprint there. It is important, with all the help I have gotten these past few weeks from friends, family and co-workers I have a renewed vigor to help others in need. The ever present question daily is ok...so what do I make for dinner tonight? Tonight I went outside my comfort zone and made salmon, I like fish but I like a mild fish. All I did was rub it with olive oil, fresh garlic and rosemary, threw it on the grill and it was pretty good! Still an aquired taste for me but none the less healthy as heck and necessary as I am on this new road/journey. I paired it with fingerling potatos and veggies. I eat 6 small meals/snacks a day so I had a small portion of both and the 6 small meals seem to keep my poor gut in check. Tomorrow we will make some decisions about some bids we got to fix both the front and back yards, I am beyond excited. It will be zero scaped in the back meaning less grass and the sprinklers in the front will finally work soon enough! YES!!!! Lot's going on and this week Jason decided to keep one kid home and spend special time with them one on one, today it was Kellan and he was so good! What do people do when they only have one kid? Hehe! I would not trade my three for the world of course but it was a touch easier I must say.
I will close for now, have my snack and retire to the spot, the couch.
Much love and blessings.
~S
