~Today began as it normally does-440am, hit snooze once, into the shower before my adorable trio started to wake up. I am still in the beginning stages of my Synthroid medication for lack of Thyroid to kick in so I am tired doing NOTHING. Then add in my kiddies but I am so damn lucky!
Yet I always digress...
I got everyone ready after I was ready, we "talked" to Daddy on the iPad said our goodbye's and we were off! Now as I have posted previously my kids love music, they love to jam out in the morning, and despite havving a splitting headache from lack of sleep lately we decided on a little best of The Black Crowes! All cute heads were bobbing to the beat and laughing could be heard in the back, I like to think the best part of my day...In the morning when we all start a new day fresh with tunes! I dropped the twinsers off at daycare and Violet and I set off to the surgery center. She was finally well enough to get those tubes, poor thing has had more ear infections than I can count! Yet always hurting she still gives you a smile and a cuddle-priceless! We got all checked in and waited, I talked with a lovely retired Air Force man who was in Services and did 25 years, retired out of Peterson AFB and was so/is so proud. I love hearing people's military stories, and I shared mine of course...Albeit not as long or as much travel I feel I did my part none the less. We got called back, Violet was prepped, I put on the gown, the booties, the hat, and we were off! I rode in the bed with her, all the while Violet waving and blowing kisses as if she was on a parade float! Hilarious and made me so proud to be a mom, and a mom to her! Everyone gushed over her, which of course she LOVES and then the Anesthesiologist put the mask over her face and began the torture, for me not her mind you. Seeing your baby scream your name and thrash about is hard but it was quick, I wiped a few tears away and went to the waiting room. About 30 minutes later the Dr came out and said all went well, she did great! There was alot of infection in her left ear and he stated he was not surprised if she could not hear before today..So now I pray my baby is fixed! Another surgery done, this is what....3 to include myself since Thanksgiving? Yeah NO MORE for A LONG WHILE PLEASE! The kids surgeries are hard, on the parents for a few minutes, not being in control of your baby/babies is hard especially to a person who LOVES to be in control! Haha! It has been almost 4 months since Jason left for Korea and although hard without the extra help each day I get stronger, and more confident. Darn it, I can do this! I got this as I always say. I am also blessed with a wonderful support system and many good people in my life so a big Thank you to all!
Kids are precious...I am so lucky and blessed...in a little bit I go pick up the other two and my night will end with hugs, kisses and the twins saying things like "Mommy I yuvvvv yur pretty(nose ring) and YOU!" or "Mommy so pretty(from Kellan) usually as he strokes my cheek with his chubby and adorable hand." I will enclose a few pictures from this past weekend, just some candid shots of us at home...Also side note all, Scarlett HATES getting her picture taken hence the reason there is none of her! Haha!
Much love to everyone! And please continue to follow/like/comment! Means the world!
~Sarah
