Friends and what they mean to me~

Morning all~
As I sit here listening to my kids play and bonk their hands against the window as they like the sound it makes I am thinking of friends and what they mean to me. What is a true friendship? For many years I served in the Air Force and I was moving every year and a half, I moved from Oklahoma to Illinois to Colorado where I would get out and start my "civilian" lfe. My journies brought many wonderful people to my life, those people ended up being my family when I was so far from my own family. And even now as a civilian I have so many close people I am lucky enough to call friend.. I work with the military and get to be around those awesome military people every day and for that I am eternally grateful! I was lucky enough to be able to watch a dear friend retire from the United States Air Force last month and I am grateful for her, and her service! The military gives you a job, a trade of some sort and gives you wonderful people in your life who define who you will be in this tough, tough world. So why the thoughts you ask? I had a somewhat difficult evening last night and was able to turn to those friends when I needed them and again you know who you are, I appreciate you more then there are words! <3
Now this morning I start my first "real" day with my personal trainer! I am frightened! He said he would "Not take it easy" on me today! Haha! So I will go and get ready for that. Thanks again to those "friends" out there....I appreciate you more then anything...Have a great day all!
