So this Thankgiving was different to put it mildly, I had three sick ones all under the age of 3! Tons of puke and other bodily yucky-ness! It really put my "mothering" skills to a test today, well this past month has tested the skills as well but today was WOW! That is all I got is WOW! I know Jason misses the little things, everything about the kids, his family and I am sure when he hears about my day he will empathize and say he misses that as well. I realize now that he is gone how much he did for this family, not to mention love on his kids but the breaks he gave me! The breaks I am in desperate need of right now...Sunday I have a sitter and plan on running errands etc, KIDLESS! YAHOO!!!!
Here I sit waiting to talk via iPad with Jason and tell him about our day, and to hear about his day. It is like 16 hours ahead there which seems surreal almost! He wakes up and I am winding down my day...He finally got all of his household items today, hopefully items that will help make his dorm room feel like a "home"...we all know stuff does not do that usually but I pray it does for him! Keep him in your prayers and look for him on Facebook if any of you are on there that read this...Does anyone read this? Haha!
I feel the love and support from afar and for that I am grateful, thank you to you all for thinking of my little family of 5 as we transition.
Blessings and love to you all~
