Tis' was a traditional Monday in every sense of the word. Everyone seemed to be "off" or crabby...I was simply tired, but coffee took care of that in no time! Poor Violet was up all night, her poor ears are still bothering her and she had her pre-op for surgery on December 5th....tube placement! My poor kids, Also known as Mr. and Mrs. Ear infection! It went well and after this I know she will be feeling better as my Kellan is....
It was a LONG holiday weekend but we all kept busy and had fun! The kids and I simply went out as the "Fabulous four" and tackled it all! Yes I did it alone and I felt/feel like a rockstar!!! If I can handle/wrangle 3 kiddies UNDER age 3 I think I can do anything...<3 I told several co-workers today though, to include my supervisor.."I am worn out!" As a mommy though, that is our job, to care for our family no matter what. And that is what I am doing, taking care of MY FAMILY NO MATTER WHAT!
A funny story to close tonight, I was getting the trio ready for a bath. We do it every other night and they all love it. Part of the routine is that we name body parts such as belly, ears, eyes, etc...Tonight Scarlett Rae had a new body part to name! Boobies! And she said Mommy---BOOBIES! Screamed it, laughed it and was so darn proud. My kids are putting sentances together and it makes my day. Their speech therapy is amazing, Mary their therapist is amazing and I am forever grateful for the therapy they have been getting. This summer my kids hardly talked and tonight putting small statements together...Even if it is Mommy---BOOBIES! Haha! Kids make me laugh, especially mine! Each one is unique and special and has a story to go along with their so far beautiful lives. I will close...
